Well, we survived the Madison & Ann Arbor Art Fairs -- there really should be a t-shirt that all exhibitors could wear the week after the Ann Arbor shows. What an intense, joyful, invigorating, exhausting week of inspiration! Hanging out with my dear friend Mary Jo Hess for four days and taking in the reactions to our new work was amazing. What a great way to learn how people perceive our work. Friday was particularly fun because my daughter Camille and Mary Jo's daughter Emma, joined us for the day. I came home Saturday night and made three more necklaces -- I had the creative energy going and I couldn't turn it off at the end of the show! Thanks to everyone who stopped by and supported Jay and I. Congratulations to our good friend Kim Rhoney, who had a fantastic first showing at the South University show and sold several of her fabulous paintings. Check out her work at kimrhoney.com.
Stay tuned to this blog for scans/pictures of our latest work...
